EMSA is based on students organizations on the level of Medical Faculties -right now we have 100+ of such Local Faculty Organisations (FMO) in all around geographical Europe. It is our goal to implement solutions that highly value personal input, local autonomy and regional characteristics, but also facilitate international cooperation, multidisciplinary dialogue and cultural understanding.
One of our main pillars are Medical Education and Science. For the first time this year EMSA organized an educational event on Open Access for healthcare students and young researchers where participants have been trained and equipped to deliver trainings on local and national level and spread knowledge about Open Access, translate the values and best practices back in their home countries and academic faculties.

We are looking for even more amazing opportunities and ideas to foster Open Access, Open Education and Open Data.
